The ties of Nacio and Félix's love have begun to fray. Evolution is necessary for their non-sexual partnership - but something holds Nacio back. When a footloose drifter from his past appears, Nacio must make a decision: stay bound or let go completely.

This sexy, intimate, and unflinching new work received it's World Premiere in Toronto, Ontario from May 31 to June 10, 2017. This production was produced by lemontree creations in their lemonTree {studio} and starred Augusto Bitter, Allister MacDonald, and Chy Ryan Spain. Challenging entrenched ideas of masculinity and governmental policies on gay rights, Salvador: A Latin-Canadian Fantasia follows a young man tumbling into a world of magic and brutality as he flees a broken heart, searching for connection and self-acceptance.

Based in part on an interview with activist and co-founder of Asociación Entre Amigos, Joaquín Cáceres, Salvador is an ode to courage and the mythic reach of love.

Workshop performance produced by We Heart Heartbeats Productions for the Toronto Fringe Festival thanks to the TD Culturally Diverse Artists Project, running from July 3 to July 13, 2014. The production starred Jaime Hernandez-Lujan, Rafael Antonio Renderos, and Jamie Johnson.
